roverover Posted February 23, 2017 Share #1 Posted February 23, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) I have a Titanium TL on order from an authorized U.S. Seller since January 5th, but haven't seen anything appearing in any US stores or here on the forum about them. I do not want to buy Internationally via ebay or such as prefer to not have potential warranty issues later. Curious, has anyone ordered a TL from a US vendor and received it in 2017? Thank You - they must've just got the other 2 colors, I assume the Titanium isn't far behind!
FlashGordonPhotography Posted February 24, 2017 Share #4 Posted February 24, 2017 Titanium is the new colour and it's ever so pretty. I'm not surprised that demand might be higher than the existing black and silver colours. Your patience will be rewarded with a lovely looking camera. Although I might be tempted to ring around and see if some one has one in stock and un allocated. I've found plenty of "out of stock" items that way over the years. Guest VVJ Posted February 27, 2017 Share #5 Posted February 27, 2017 FYI and FWIW, Amazon lists the Titanium... It is sold by Ace Photo and they are if my memory serves me right based in VA. I have never dealt with them but I looked at their website a few times in the past. They charge $1,745, so $50 added to the regular list price. https://www.amazon.com/Leica-Mirrorless-Digital-Camera-Titanium/dp/B01MSLIMQZ

Belle123 Posted February 27, 2017 Share #7 Posted February 27, 2017 Advertisement (gone after registration) If there is a delay, probably due to production of the new m10 as that is likely to be in high demand. The T seems to be always in the back seat. If I were in the market, would look for the older T still available new for a fantastic price! There really isn't much advantage to buying the TL except slightly more memory and smoother body edge, and new color available. Everything else is the same. But if you got to have the new color, am sure will show up eventually. I would be reluctant to pay higher than list price. Would go with one of the major camera retailers or Leica stores. The first T I bought had physical internal problems and returned it with no problems with immediate replacement. Thankfully the replacement was good. The TL was announced in November and is really just rolling out now in the US. I decided to grab the TL model, but i agree, there really isn't any discernible improvement over the T, the internal memory is of little consequence since I predominately user storage cards and dislike plugging a camera into my computer. I guess it really becomes about the cosmetics then, which are not too important to me either, but i got excited and ordered it. The good news is that my camera is shipping tomorrow, they HAVE finally arrived.
