stuny Posted October 31, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 31, 2014 Wonderful. By chance did you chat up the man begging money for plastic surgery?
A miller Posted October 31, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted October 31, 2014 Thanks, Stuart. I did indeed chat him up as I feel very bad that I didn't have any money to give him b/c even though my photo didn't focus on him exclusively I still normally would give some money. My interaction with him made my day: I told him that I would give him some cash if I had b/c I thought he was very clever and funny. Then, in earnest, I opened my wallet to show him that I had no cash. He was all smiles and said that hewas just trying to make people smile. This of course made me feel even more guilty; so I asked him if he took credit cards, which he obviously didn't. I told him that he was in the wrong business and that with his sense of humor, good nature and humility he should be thinking bigger about life. He also had piercing blue eyes which I remarked on as well. He is probably an addict of some kind which has taken over his life. My eyes are thoroughly peeled now and if I ever see him again I shall through him some cash.

Louis Posted October 31, 2014 Share #8 Posted October 31, 2014 Adam, I wish I had the same "sufferings" as yours! Great set, my friend!
A miller Posted October 31, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted October 31, 2014 Many thanks, Henry, Pedro and Louis. I will be "suffering" through a couple dozen rolls in the next week or two, weather permitting. Then I will "suffer" through schlepping to the lab and paying $15 for home delivery b/c I am too busy to schlep back. Then I will "suffer" through cutting the negatives and scanning them. And then will "suffer" through waiting for the scanning to process. It's kind of like making homemade bread vs purchasing it at the store. The latter is much easier and is neater looking, but the former is almost always more delicious
