Saw this listed on a dealer's website this week so could not resist … looking forward to experimenting with it soon.

They are now very scarce and seldom listed … the last one I saw offered by a dealer was in May 2013.

I also have some Marumi 67mm diameter achromatic c/u lenses so will be interesting to compare the results.

Best wishes

Congratulations. The vast majority of the run sold during the D2 run. the only real downside is there is no case for the Elpro. A number of us came up with solutions. Mine was to use a clear plastic hockey puck display case.

Yes ... I have to source a suitable case … or maybe make one.

Best wishes

I got a nice black leather case from Luigi. Don't know if they are still available.

Here is an image of the my Elpro-D E69 macro adapter plus the Luigi leather case. The cases from Luigi are yes expensive but they are a work of art.

The large lens in the background is the "rare wide angle adapter" for the Leica D2 and LC1. It is a massive piece of glass but it is very nice to be able to go down to 23 degrees and capture some extreme images with no or little distortion.

When not in use, mine lives in its original box.
