Hi, I am looking for one of these. Barrel can show a little wear but glass needs to be free of haze, fungus etc. Any clues of where to find one? I can trade with the same lens in bayonet mount or in M3 version + some cash if necessary...
(to Moderators: there were no "wanted" section in the screw mount classifieds...)

Hi,

![]() Are You sure your lens is not already a screw one ? Many have been changed for the M3 by adding an adapter ring on it. A very small screw can be seen down (6 o'clock) on those "multi-mount" lens. ![]()

Thanks for the replies!
I already have the 3.5 version. I like the way the 2.8 draws and I want to make a tiny "in the pocket" setup with the IIIb + Summaron 2.8 (+ maybe the SBLOO).

Hello Luigi!
I did see your PM, thanks! I have received a few offers and will let you know what I decide to do. Actually I am uncertain if I have the adapted version or not. There are three screws on the rear ring but there is nothing that look anything like the regular 1mm LTM adapter. Best,

Hello Gunnar,
Yes you can use the first one, just unscrew the little screw which is on the flange the one we see on the picture, let a drop of penetrating oil on the head for a while before, next you can use a rear cap to unscrew the M flange and next after cleaning the thread with lighter fluid and using some moly grease you can use it on a LTM body. The one for M3 is useable too, but you do not to use it Good luck (you are lucky anyway)

Thanks JC and Philippe!
How about the larger screw on the second picture of the M2 version? Should I just leave that alone? Philippe - sorry for not looking close enough when you mentioned this the first time... I was looking for something more like the traditional LTM to bayonet adapter...

OK, Gunnar, my PM'd proposal is nonsense, given the lenses you have... mine is exactly as your 2nd item, deprived of BM adapter and goggles (and this, as JC said, is a pity to do, much better to make the removal on the first item, as Philippe said too)

Ruben - Thanks
Luigi - Well, my knowledge about these items is only a fraction of yours, JCs, Philippes and all the other helpful members of this forum. So, I had no idea that I could use what I already have. Thanks everyone, I learn something from this place every day. ![]()
