Anyone recall the part number for the rubber handgrip which affixes to this lens? I'm looking for it (or something like it) to use for handholding the 70-180 APO. Thanks.

I think the rubber handgrip was provided as standard with the 280 2,8, so a separate commercial code may not to exist...but it is removable indeed, so I'd suggest you to ask Leica if it's availble as a spare part.

It is 14282. Described as a "pistol grip", and lists for approximately $200. That's some special rubber, I guess.
