Zephyr Posted December 26, 2010 Share #2 Posted December 26, 2010 A very nice and beautiful accessory, JC. Useful also. It is called "Filterrevolver" in german. Do you think it was planed and realized by the canadian Leitz section? Each filter is a slim screw on lens filter. Even any combination is possible. Possibly the Hektor 125 mm is also compatible it. I have to verify. May I add the pic of mine, with the box and the notice. Welcome, dear visitor! Question: is it possible to exchange the glass in the filterrings with other glass? e.g. this would make it possible to use a UV/IR filter for my Telyt 400mm (for which I only have a normal Uv filter at 85mm. Zephyr Posted December 26, 2010 Share #8 Posted December 26, 2010 Normally the turret accept the 43 mm slim screw-in filters from the 50 mm Summilux-M. But they can be replaced by the filter holder ref: 14 117 with any series VI filters (Leitz, Kodak, etc). No other ones.

YES Ron you can, there is (only) a chrome version of the E43 UV/IR filter.
zeitz Posted December 27, 2010 Share #10 Posted December 27, 2010 Any lens that uses the OUBIO can be used with the filter turret in its place. The 800 6.3 Telyt cannot be used. While the turret looks ungainly, it is actually very useable. The Nikon F sold in record numbers. The Visoflex III and even the turret sold in enough numbers that they are not rare at all. Btw... are you sure the 14116 turret is not rare ? Seems to me is not so common to see one for sale... even if , speaking of "revolvers", the one for 3 lenses is surely scarcer... Zephyr Posted December 28, 2010 Share #16 Posted December 28, 2010 Thanks but are you sure about the number. series VI gives nr. 14 160, and series VII gives nr. 14 161. Yes, it is right, look at the photo of the Turret, the number is visible on the notice. The black 14 160 is not usable on it. Probably the 14 117 was different, but I have no photo of it. "The Filterturret accepts the standard E43 filters of the 50 mm SUMMILUX F1.4. In addition, a special adaptor (code No. 14117D) is available for Kodak Series VI Filters."
