Just a quick question about the V35, the ones with the color head are they able to print b&w aswell? sorry if this has been covered before.

...Checkland, if you are considering using the Leitz Focomat V35 AF (even on a short-term basis) for colour or B&W, I thoroughly recommend picking up a copy of Rudolph Seck's "Leica Darkroom Practice - The Focomat Manual".

 

The title says it all, really - everything relevant to the V35 is covered in easy-to-understand text, diagrams and photographs.

Absolutely. If you have a V35, I'd suggest buying Rudolf Seck's Leica Darkroom Practice (available on Amazon below)

If you're doing exclusively B&W, then try and get hold of the V35 multigrade head. It makes life much easier. Alternatively if you've got stacks of money, try the Heiland Splitgrade.
