cbretteville Posted July 1, 2010 Share #2 Posted July 1, 2010 Great news, thanks for posting the link. What truly amazes me is that they will be producing it in 110 format too. Does anyone actually still use that?? Carl

Always wondered if they'd ever see the light of day again. Maybe they will But who can develop that fiddly little stuff? Great news with new films, anyway. They saved my bacon when I came across a roll of old exposed E10 film in an Ensign Midget! They can process many of the old films. Timmyjoe Posted July 1, 2010 Share #7 Posted July 1, 2010 Advertisement (gone after registration) Great news, thanks for posting the link. What truly amazes me is that they will be producing it in 110 format too. Does anyone actually still use that??Carl I was always under the impression that 110 format film was just 16mm motion picture film loaded into those little cartridges. If they make a black and white 110 film, I have taken a Patterson plastic reel and cut it down so it fits 5+ feet of 16mm motion picture film for processing small test strips. Would probably work fine for the 110 variety. Best, -Tim
giordano Posted July 1, 2010 Share #8 Posted July 1, 2010 I was always under the impression that 110 format film was just 16mm motion picture film loaded into those little cartridges. No, it's 16mm wide but the perforations are more widely spaced and a different shape from those in 16mm ciné film, to allow an image area of 17 x 13mm. StS Posted July 1, 2010 Share #9 Posted July 1, 2010 Opening the cartridge to develop 110 film oneself is probably a challenge... Stefan
