doubice Posted June 23, 2009 Share #2 Posted June 23, 2009 Any suggestions for modern filters for Summarit 1.5f 5cm lens (i.e size, need for adapter, manufacturer and source of supply)?JTB John, The Summarit's filter size is 41 x 0.5, meaning 41mm screw-in with a 0.5mm pitch. No adapter is needed for those. Some of the earlier Summarits used to take special Leitz bayonet mount filters - those are only available used and obviously, choice will be very limited. I would stay away from those. B+W, Heliopan and Hoya would be the obvious choices and Google should be your friend as to availability. jaapv Posted June 23, 2009 Share #3 Posted June 23, 2009 Actually, you can take a bayonet filter, knock out the glass and "screw"in a 40.5 mm filter. It is very practical for filters one seldom uses. (like a 408)
