Advertisement Posted February 3, 2009 Posted February 3, 2009 Hi traffic717, Take a look here Help with DLux 4. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
vdb Posted February 3, 2009 Share #2 Posted February 3, 2009 For B&W, press the menu (center) button and select Film Mode by pressing right button and you have several B&W modes to choose from. Or you can convert to B&W with post-processing and capture in RAW for better control. Not sure what latch you are talking about. How about taking a photo and posting it. roberts2424 Posted February 3, 2009 Share #3 Posted February 3, 2009 A couple of weeks ago I was chatting online with one of the people at Imaging Insider. He said that he had been using the D-Lux 4 for about 4 months and that that the battery door had been a little tricky. Several times it popped open even though it had been latched. Other times he said he would unlatch it and then have to open it with a finger nail. He said that it was acting normally of late. You might try to contact him. I can't remember his name but i noticed the email was imaginginsider@gmail.com.

jrh68uk Posted February 3, 2009 Share #6 Posted February 3, 2009 How bad is it - really? Mine wobbles a bit and sometimes doesn't sit perfectly straight but, unless something is seriously wrong with it, it can't sit too far off kilter because it's only slightly narrower than the recess that it sits in. Can you post a pic? Mine annoyed me slightly but I'm over it now.

I was expecting the camera/play mode switch to be as hard as the on/off switch but its not. I went to a store yesterday to check the panasonic lumix and its camera/play mode switch is like that of my leica, not hard, kina loose but not that loose. Youre very astute!!! its quite annoying sometime but I guess its the normal thing and its not broken!! Right??? Im so Obsessive-Compulsive about my things... I asked someone to buy it overseas (Singapore) since they dont sell Leica in my country. I regret doing it. I should have bought it myself so I could have checked it in the store. And guess what, Its not even made in Germany. Only made in Japan unlike their M8. Im so deprressed!!
