That’s what I thought. The German Youtubers Krolop & Gerst first presented a video with this AF confirmation with MF lenses. A few days later they then uploaded a correction of their first video informing the viewers that eye AF confirmation was only possible when there is an electricial connection between the lens and the Zf body: The 6bit TTa adapter has such a connection. This was the last Information I had, but who knows, maybe the systems are getting more and more clever 🙂

The Nikon Zf AF confirmation (the green square box) only works if here is an electrical connection between the lens and the Zf body. This can be achieved by using an M-Z adapter with electrical contacts , e.g. the 6bit TTartisan Adapter. With other pure mechanical adapters, this AF confirmation will NOT FUNCTION. As there is no electrical contact between lens and M body apart from the 6bit reading (that is in fact an optical contact) I fear that this wish cannot be fulfilled with a simple software update.

Strange that this battery behaviour was not reported for the M11. The Battery from my m11-p safari was completely flat when I received it but charging in camera was no problem.

Oder diesen TechartPro Adapter in einer M einbauen. Habe das den Herrn Karbe vor vielen Jahren mal vorgeschlagen. An seine Böse Blicke dann erinnere ich mich jetzt noch.

Pulled the trigger as well for a lovely green one. Looks in reality even better then on the pics here.

So, meine M11-P Safari ist jetzt auch da. Wo könnte es noch einen Akku mir grünem Boden zu kaufen geben? Würde doch gerne einen Zweiten haben mann weiß ja nie 🙂
