I know some of you have stated that the M9 is seems to focus easier, and I wonder of this is what you are referring to. Actually my M8 is 1month old (since it was replaced with a new one by Leica recently), while the M9 is just a couple of weeks old. But again, this is very subtle. I will do a placebo controlled study this weekend with someone who has never looked through an M and report back.
