leicamann Posted October 7, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 7, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I am giving folks lots of lead time here to think about what they want to shoot and get their film for the upcoming Chinese New Years, what better occasion than to show off the virtues of Kodachrome. I just hope the day is reasonably bright and overcast to get the full tonal range. So there you go, nothing specific.. you have 8 weeks from Chinese New Years to allow for the slow turn around time for K64 development. Emphasis on color and for portraits, shapness and skin tone... Remember for those of you scanning, getting the Kodachrome Q60 color target will REALLY help your scanning. Good luck JRM

Michael Hiles Posted October 8, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 8, 2009 Remember for those of you scanning, getting the Kodachrome Q60 color target will REALLY help your scanning. Where is this target available? And exactly what is it? Thanks
StS Posted October 8, 2009 Share #3 Posted October 8, 2009 A description of the Kodachrome scanning process (including calibration targets) can be found here: Kodachrome & SilverFast :: LaserSoft Imaging Or maybe even better klick on the banner commercial on the page of the ongoing competition - this should support the forum, since Silverfast is the sponsor for the competition.
