kivis Posted October 7, 2009 Share #1 Posted October 7, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Getting blown highlights in very sunny Florida. Would an ND-2 filter help? Can I also use 800 color film with the filter? Any suggestions?
Advertisement Posted October 7, 2009 Posted October 7, 2009 Hi kivis, Take a look here 400 ISO or 800 ISO with a ND-2 Filter?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
ismon Posted October 7, 2009 Share #2 Posted October 7, 2009 Given that the average day here in FL is F/11 @1/250 with ISO 100, I find higher speed films a bit overkill. Even with ISO 100, I usually carry a N.D. 0.9 (3 stops) and a N.D. 1.8 (6 stops) for more control. Remember to adjust your flash accordingly for proper fill.
