leicaM8freak Posted November 23, 2006 Share #1 Posted November 23, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) hello all, I am a proud owner of the M8, and tend to get as much out of her as possible before I might need to send her back to mum for a tune up... One question though, can I actually use a CV 15mm on my M8? According the manual not all lenses can be used on the M8 because of the shallow depth available inside the body, (retracting lenses might damage the camera.) Is this the case with a CV 15 or am I save? thanks. somebody there with actual experience?
Advertisement Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Hi leicaM8freak, Take a look here CV 15mm on a M8?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
hammam Posted November 23, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 23, 2006 Search the LUF. There has been a few threads on the CV 15, including one with pictures posted. Very nice indeed. So, even if I don't have the 15, nor the M8, yet (expecting it mid-December, though) a quick answer is yes, I guess you can use it on the M8. Unless I missed something, that is. Second opinion? carstenw Posted November 24, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 24, 2006 I am ready to order one, but see only M39 screw mount versions. Is this true, or is there an M-mount version? Does anyone know where I can order one with immediate delivery in Germany, for the 399 Euro price? Thanks in advance.
