Pete,

this W25 seems to be very original. Got it´s first restauration just prior to the 75th anniversary of the Silberpfeile this year. And like with all the other Silberpfeile, there were 9 to 16 or even more made back in their time of each, so some did survive as originals and no copy. Difficult to say that about the Auto Unions

Ron,

I've spent too much time recently looking at these:

Bob Petersen Engineering

Bentley built 50 Blowers; these folks have made more than that.

They are beautiful things, built on a Bentley chassis but......... not sure where all this will end.

:D Ron, nothing; well almost nothing.

When posting in the English (International) forum, do not expect everything to run on logical German lines.

Don't forget that our national (Summer) game is Cricket and the rest of our lives is, loosely, based on the same principles. That and the Henley Regatta (held during Wimbledon fortnight; to confuse "foreigners").

It's no use asking an American what I mean; they are further away from the M.C.C. than the furthest point in Germany. ;)

btw; it is time to sort out you accreditation for Le Mans Classic 2010; if you need any help with names, give me a pm.:cool:

Seems like a piss-poor excuse for side tracking the thread.

Pete,

i would never judge from ones personal non-logic to any nations logic (otherwise your hometown could be called Liverdorf today:rolleyes:).

What about this "American" and "M.C.C." stuff? Can´t see any reason why you mentioned that. Be a man, and agree you were talking b***shit;)

Let´s talk about Le Mans. At the moment I´m trying to organize the modern 24hrs and hope we will get a Heli from and to Paris like in 2008 because of all that traffic jam around the race track. Drop me a PM about the dates for LM classic, I think, i could make it in 2010.

p.s. Sent you a PN, also to Rolo.
