It's entitled 'Rain' and takes the form of a giant (5mX5m) water carrying vessel. Last I saw the formwork was being completed before it's covered in olive green porcelain tiles........Didn't happen to photograph it by accident did you? If the answer is that you kept the UV/IR filter on, how did it do in the corners? If you did not use a UV/IR filter with the 24 lux, did you use a plain UV filter or no filter? Also, did you use an external finder with the 24 lux and overall are you happy with this lens on the M9? doug, yes, come to think of it the women's clothes are all black. still i do not think that this is a test to rule out IR contamination. there are examples around which show it under artificial light, though certainly much less than with the M8. i did not use the external finder for the 24 summilux since there was not enough time for focusing and accurate image composition anyway. and yes, i am rather happy with the 24 summilux. the indoor dinner photos in the gallery were all shot with it wide open. this was one of the very few cases (in my shooting) where the 24mm f2.8 would have forced me to go to iso1600 which i find horrible on the m9. again, my personal opinion. all in all, for 95% of my shooting the 24mm f2.8 would have been the better choice. smaller, lighter, less expensive. anyway, i have the lux and will sail with it. peter Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I have not yet tried the 24 lux much on the M9 but it sure is nice on the M8- especially at 1.4. I'll bet you made the right choice by getting it over the 2.8.
