davidcmishawaka Posted September 25, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 25, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hi everyone! I just decided to sign up here and I have a question: Has anyone tried the Zeiss 18mm ZM lens on the M9 yet? I have heard lots of good things about that lens, but I would like to know it will work ok on the M9. Before, I always used the 15mm Voigtlander on my MP and M7, and friends loved it on the M8, but I have heard that the 15 really is not working on the M9, mostly due to falloff. BTW, I sold all my RF gear and am thinking of getting back into it with a M9, and probably mostly Zeiss lenses as I like the way they look(used the 21 and 25 zm on my old MP). Thanks for any and all answers/opinions! David

davidcmishawaka Posted September 27, 2009 Author Share #2 Posted September 27, 2009 I guess no one has tried this lens yet, as the camera is brand new this does not surprise me. I wonder if there is any interest in starting a thread about what non-leica lenses work well, and not so well with the M9. Any interest in that? chris_tribble Posted September 27, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 27, 2009 I have this lens but haven't tried on the M9 yet - once I'm back home I'll be planning to use it and will report.
