Advertisement Posted September 25, 2009 Posted September 25, 2009 Hi kenneth, Take a look here Travel kit. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
kenneth Posted September 25, 2009 Share #22 Posted September 25, 2009 You mean minutes, don't you?? I was thinking about the comment you and Christer made and it reminds me of a attitude changing experience I had some years ago. A friend had been on an expedition to Arctic Greenland backcountry skiing and camping. She told me of one occasion when they stood and watched a school of wales. I said did you take any photographs of them? She said no we were just present. That made me think seriously about the situations I have missed because I was behind a camera. I hear people refer to shots as great capture. I don't feel the need to have, capture or record every little thing that happens so Dicko, which is such an unfortunate name especially when you make such clever arse comments as you did here, I shall not use 4 films but just to be on the safe side I will take them
kenneth Posted September 27, 2009 Share #23 Posted September 27, 2009 Bridlington is looking favourite. I do like the East Coast. I went to Scarborough last autumn with 1 M6 and a 35 mm Summicron asph and virtually used a whole 36 exposure roll of Pan-F Plus The other place I would love to visit aswell as Paris is New York and spend time exploring the magnificent skyscrapers of Manhattan particularly the Chrysler Building with it's beautiful Art Deco interiors. Maybe one day health permitting

kenneth Posted September 28, 2009 Share #25 Posted September 28, 2009 Travelling by Erostar to la cité de l'amour - thank you for that wonderful image!John it's my pleasure and you are so right the city exudes it. I just need to get my passport renewed and then who knows. Funnily enough we watched a lovely program last evening on doing the grand tour and this week Kevin McCloud who presents it and is also an architect by profession was in Florence admiring the beautiful Tuscan architecture and he reminded me we have family in Florence so there is another possible trip
