John Maio Posted November 21, 2006 Share #3 Posted November 21, 2006 Reiner, nice spot. He looks like he's been carrying the cases. To me, it looks like he's been carrying the world. I like it.
wda Posted November 21, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 21, 2006 I like the context of this shot. But wouldn't the old man make a wonderful subject for a series of portraits. David
azzo Posted November 21, 2006 Share #5 Posted November 21, 2006 If you want my HONEST opinion Reiner, this image is strong, but it has to be cropped, 'cos there's too much going on. I'd crop from the left side till just before the bearded man's shoes. From below, i'd crop till i get rid of the bottom left spotlight reflections. Slightly from the right side, and from above till just above the bald gent's head, getting rid of the 4 globes that are bang in the middle, and the round white clock. This crop IMHO, will strongly emphasize the 2 gentlemen sitting diagonal to one another. Best Azzo
leicanut2 Posted November 21, 2006 Share #6 Posted November 21, 2006 Good picture of a real person in the real world. He may not even be as old as he looks. The world can somtimes be hard. Cheers Jan
