Advertisement Posted September 18, 2009 Posted September 18, 2009 Hi kivis, Take a look here What am I doing wrong?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
dave_d Posted September 18, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 18, 2009 Does #2 appear under exposed on the negative or just the scan? How do the two exposures compare on the negative? Who did your scanning?
msweeney Posted September 19, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 19, 2009 Hi kshapero, I saw your earlier post about the film speed setting going haywire on your new a-la-carte M7... could that have something to do with it? Maybe it's setting film sensitivity randomly or something. In this case, say you had loaded ISO 400 film. If it all of a sudden changed to 800 or 1600 that would account for underexposure because it's going to set a higher than normal shutter speed. richam Posted September 19, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 19, 2009 Have you tried setting the film speed manually, rather than relying on the DX coding? Could be an electrical problem of some type. Have you changed batteries?
Photon42 Posted September 19, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 19, 2009 I believe we need more information. Photographed with the M7? Auto or manual? Auto DX setting? What did you scan? Wet prints, negative, slide?
kivis Posted September 21, 2009 Author Share #6 Posted September 21, 2009 Shot with M7 in auto exposure. Could be the trouble I was having with ISO. Anyway M7 went to Leica for repair.
cmatter Posted September 28, 2009 Share #7 Posted September 28, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Maybe your shutter is sticking... or the shutter speeds are off/inconsistent.
stunsworth Posted September 28, 2009 Share #8 Posted September 28, 2009 The photos are unavailable from Flickr. That makes any judgement difficult.
