JSK Posted September 15, 2009 Author Share #4 Â Posted September 15, 2009 What's your question on this topic? Â Want to hear if M users actually use their camera with Profoto/Broncolor/Pocketwizards and how smooth their experience is or do they switch brands/formats? Â I am about to do the test as soon as I get my M9 Â I think of M9 18mp as more than just the "street camera", maybe I am wrong.
cocker Posted September 15, 2009 Share #5 Â Posted September 15, 2009 PW works fine with M8.2 - does what its supposed to do - triggers the strobes.
JSK Posted September 15, 2009 Author Share #6  Posted September 15, 2009 PW works fine with M8.2 - does what its supposed to do - triggers the strobes.  of course it triggers  I was looking to hear more about M users experience and to see some results  my point is, what is then the advantage of using Canon/Nikon (AF & ISO excluded)  if you carry x2 M9s

JSK Posted September 15, 2009 Author Share #8 Â Posted September 15, 2009 You use what you got!! What's the point of the question? Â According to you Canon G10 is just fine.. except, obviously we are focusing on Leica M and its experience with studio lighting environment. Â So, kindly skip and don't reply if you don't have nothing related to offer.

And the correct grammer is "if you don't have ANYTHING"
JSK Posted September 15, 2009 Author Share #10 Â Posted September 15, 2009 Who said anything about a G10. And the correct grammer is "if you don't have ANYTHING" Â Please skip, we don't wanna talk about "grammer " grammar now do we.. Â FYI (nothing means less than anything) Â Thank you

As it is, given your rude response, you have no chance of anything more from me.
JSK Posted September 15, 2009 Author Share #12 Â Posted September 15, 2009 Perhaps if you had given more thought to framing your initial question you might have got a more substantial answer. As it is, given your rude response, you have no chance of anything more from me. Â My question is rather straight forward "Hi, anybody using their M camera with Broncolor/Profoto/PocketWizard?" You guys obviously didn't have experience with such, therefore responding in different direction. Â However, I understand your concerns and I thank you kindly for your past efforts. SJP Posted September 15, 2009 Share #13 Â Posted September 15, 2009 The reason for any enthusiastic lack of response is 1) yes of course it will work as all it does is transmit a strobe signal (this is not rocket science, in fact, it is not science at all), 2) basically we don't really care as we avoid using flash at all cost. Â But to respond to the original question the answer is more or less no (but it will work fine obviously if you have that inclination).
tgray Posted September 16, 2009 Share #14 Â Posted September 16, 2009 I've used them a little bit with my film M's. Works as advertised.
redbaron Posted September 16, 2009 Share #15 Â Posted September 16, 2009 Correct grammar Peyton requires a question mark at the end of a question, a full stop at the end of a sentence and a sentence shouldn't start with a conjunction, if you must be so pedantic.
