No they won't it's not practical. What's common between the M8 and the M9? Even the body casing is different, let alone the sensor, the electronics, the rangefinder, the top plate. The base plate is common, I'll give you that, but just about everything else would need to be replaced. Even if it were possible there's the cost of stripping down the M8 and then assembling it as a M9. The end result would be a camera that cost more to upgrade that it would to buy an M9.
