sclamb Posted September 12, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 12, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) but C1 does a great job and the high ISO pics really come out of C1 very clean indeed with lots of detail. The cupboard shot is ISO 1250 and I had NR switched off in C1 - and the blacks are black (the blue bits are strong sunlight coming into the cupboard through the side of the door). Advertisement Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Hi sclamb, Take a look here Another couple of M9 pics - just messing. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
seemeng Posted September 12, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 12, 2009 The M9 is superb.
chris_tribble Posted September 12, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 12, 2009 Encouraging - looking forward to seeing if there is a dedicated profile for the M9 in the LR download that's supposed to be coming. Looks like I might have to switch to C1 for the moment though...
mat_mcdermott Posted September 12, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 12, 2009 My word! Do you own stock in Billingham?
arthury Posted September 12, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 12, 2009 Nicely neutral, I have to agree. What lens was this?
jplomley Posted September 12, 2009 Share #6 Posted September 12, 2009 Sheesh! And here I thought I was the only one with three Billingham's. It's amazing how they seem to reproduce...
sclamb Posted September 12, 2009 Author Share #7 Posted September 12, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks to you all for your replies. The Billingham bags do seem to breed LOL! I have two more in another cupboard plus a couple more Fogg bags. I just never found the PERFECT bag The lens was the 50mm f/1.4 Summilux ASPH. My wife did wonder why I wanted to photograph a french bread sandwich. When I told her that people here would be interested to see it she laughed LOL. Here is a 100% crop showing the detail from the ISO 1250 cupboard shot: and another showing the darker ares. Not the diagonal texture on the black bag is still visible: Not bad considering I had NR off in C1. Simon
