adan Posted September 11, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 11, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Looking for info and pictures of this combination once someone shoots with them. Will the 35 'lux non-ASPH fit on the M9 without the modification needed for use on the M8 (removal of baffle on back). What happens with no coding? What coding is best substitute? Is it on the internal list (I forgot to check)?

swamiji Posted September 11, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 11, 2009 1) Yes, it's in the manual menu. 2) I could not get mine to focus at infinity on M9.. but work well on my M7 and M8 3) On M9 soft focus everywhere, M9 manual says this lens is problematic and to send it in. 4) Traded it for a Cron 35 6-bit.... mby Posted September 11, 2009 Share #7 Posted September 11, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I own both, Summilux and M9: combination's really not bad, characteristics of 'Lux stay the same but some backfocus, will need to get it adjusted in Solms some day. I do like it and will keep it, nice 'glow' wide open but needs to be used wisely, good when stopped down. Let me know if you have any further questions. Best, Michael
adan Posted September 11, 2009 Author Share #8 Posted September 11, 2009 Thanks. Personally I think I could shoot forever with just a 21 and 75 - but a 35 of some type would fill the gap between those nicely at some point.
