jaapv Posted September 10, 2009 Share #27 Posted September 10, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I think so too, for a few months and then merge. The same with the X1, it should be together with the Digilux2, and Clux4. An R forum for both digital and analog, after all the DMR is supposed to be a hybrid, and a catch-all digiforum for the rest. andybarton Posted September 10, 2009 Share #28 Posted September 10, 2009 I believe that is what the plan is. There was a huge demand to split the sub-sections out before the M9 was released, so it just goes to show that you can't please everyone.
Rono1 Posted September 10, 2009 Share #29 Posted September 10, 2009 Agree; "Digital M" now.
tomasis7 Posted September 10, 2009 Share #30 Posted September 10, 2009 There was a huge demand to split the sub-sections out before the M9 was released, so it just goes to show that you can't please everyone. I dont see that demand for to split into two but rather only to change title's name

Joe S Posted September 10, 2009 Share #36 Posted September 10, 2009 I posted this suggestion to the M8 thread and thought is worth repeating here. How about having the two separate forums for the M8 and the M9 for those that like it that way and an additional M digital forum that includes the threads of both. With todays cheap storage it shouldn't be an issue of cost or complexity. After some time the combined thread could be reevaluated and discarded if it is no longer useful. jrc Posted September 10, 2009 Share #38 Posted September 10, 2009 I agree - put them back together...in a week or two.
RockyIII Posted September 11, 2009 Share #39 Posted September 11, 2009 I am apparently in the minority, but I think the difference in sensor size alone is sufficient reason to have separate forums for the M8 and M9. Rocky
gwelland Posted September 11, 2009 Share #40 Posted September 11, 2009 +1 on bringing them back together to a Digital M forum at some point. It's kind of tedious jumping back and forth.
