vdb Posted September 10, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 10, 2009 Sublime. The colors seem to reflect the stunning NM skies. May I ask where exactly this was taken?
John Maio Posted September 10, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted September 10, 2009 Sublime. The colors seem to reflect the stunning NM skies. May I ask where exactly this was taken? This was at the Rio Grande Nature Center, maintained by the city at the very west end of Candaleria as it enters the Bosque. The camera is looking west and the sun is high, but still east. The green is filtered light from the canopy of trees in the Bosque reflecting into the water.
vdb Posted September 10, 2009 Share #4 Posted September 10, 2009 Thanks John. Northern NM is my favorite place on Earth. We have a tiny adobe in Ojo Caliente and try to spend time there a few times/yr. Planning a trip at the end of October. The air, light and smells are intoxicating...and I have become an addict:)
