andrewfoto Posted September 9, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 9, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Did anyone notice the moiré in M9 sample files from Roland Schmidt? In the first image its on the tape on the floor under the front wheel. In the second image the name on the wall "curt delfosse". In the third image the volkswagon signage is just starting to go with subtle color shifts. The bike and car shots are moiré free and are shot at larger apertures. In the seventh the boys shirt has some but it is well suppressed. These may be minor issues for many users. As someone who uses the M8 professionally it looks like the moiré problems are still with us. Not that the samples shown are deal breakers by any means. Just look out shooting interiors with signage and nailing focus on finely threaded cloth, roof tiles etc. Just noticing. I think the other features will outweigh this though.
