Man there is a lot of a storm in a glass of water.

Generally I use the marque selection set to a fixed size something like 640x480 pix, then select crop. that way I know I am posting the actual 100% crop.

honestly I envy Toke getting to go take pictures instead of trying to defend his crop. :)

Please Leica ship mine soon.

.

Amen!

Toke thanks for posting these shots..I ordered a M9 but have no idea when I'll receive it. It seems to me the files are very similar to the M8 but with FF and some other niceties. I agree with Jamie R, I think in future firmware more will be squeezed out of this sensor.

And oh btw my favorite singer song writer is from Aarhus, Tina Dico (Dickow)

Anyway..............I'm happy and impressed with the new camera and the photos I can make with it......

And all the technical stuff really doesn't interest me at all.......

I'm off to take pictures.........

Thanks for sharing your pics. I agree with you, even when I haven't got my M9, I'm impressed as well.

Well yesterday I was out shooting with my M8 and loving it. Today I had a day out at the Museum of Modern Art with my kid, and loving that too. Right now I was looking at some images taken with the M9 and some crops claiming to be 100% details, and you know - sometimes you just gotta call out BS - though obviously this was totally an accident on Toke's part and was in no way meant to mislead anyone.

Still - fine by me if you guys want to see 100% crops of M9 images that aren't.

Here's an image from yesterday, as light relief from 'all this technical stuff'.
