stuny Posted November 20, 2006 Share #2 Posted November 20, 2006 Jan - You're doing a nice job of showing that the V Lux is a serious camera. I especially like the immediacy of the ring-tailed lemur portrait
leicanut2 Posted November 21, 2006 Author Share #3 Posted November 21, 2006 Hi Stuart, All these shot were taken from behind some really dirty and scratched glass, so I was not too sure how they would enlarge. Cheers Jan
pgallos Posted November 21, 2006 Share #4 Posted November 21, 2006 Beautiful animal portraits, Jan. And I'd never have guessed there was dirty glass involved. I'm curious about a few technical things. Would you let us know what size these images are; were they jpeg or RAW; what is the ISO; what level in-camera noise reduction and sharpening; what was the lighting; was there any out-of-camera processing in PhotoShop or similar program? This is my first post to this forum, so if I missed the this data somewhere, my apologies. Thanks, Phil
leicanut2 Posted November 22, 2006 Author Share #5 Posted November 22, 2006 Well camera was set at ISO 100 , jpeg , 4.3 at 10 megs, and I have never even tried photo shop yet still too new at digital. Can't remember the size but I had to makem smaller they would not fit onto the forum. Used the flash that built into the camera as you can see the cats eyes just glow. Cheers I hope this helped as I am very new to digital.
