Advertisement Posted July 5, 2006 Posted July 5, 2006 Hi semrich, Take a look here Catching Rays. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Guest imported_stefan_r Posted July 5, 2006 Share #2 Posted July 5, 2006 mhhh no black tones no white tones...too much dof and no sense of composition, wait for a special moment, some of these guys looking at you... or make a portrait...
robert_parker Posted July 5, 2006 Share #3 Posted July 5, 2006 Agree with stephan this time - there's nothing special happening - maybe waiting for the right moment would have been the thing to do - on my monitor the tonal range of the image looks flat, too - nerver mind, though - look forward to seeing lots more ! semrich Posted July 5, 2006 Author Share #4 Posted July 5, 2006 Stefan, Robert - Your comments are appreciated. As an American living in Istanbul I am interested in photographing everyday life here as candidly as possible. I actually waited until the guy with the cap looked away to take this. As I get more used to the new camera I may discover how to post photos that are less flat. These were done with Adobe Camera Raw and do not look as good as EpsonRaw. I am waiting delivery of PhotoShop CS2 so I can use the EpsonRaw plug in.
