Hank Taylor Posted October 29, 2009 Author Share #21 Posted October 29, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) No question about it, the pre Summilux 35 is also my favorite. Has a personality all it's own something I think the newer ASPH lack.

Hank Taylor Posted October 30, 2009 Author Share #22 Posted October 30, 2009 Nice to hear that you love the pre- Summilux . Knowing what a great lens I recently purchased, and the fact that you highly recommend it, I don't think that I want to get a new ASAP. Just invested in putting down a wad on the new M9. Knowing how long it might take to get, doesn't turn me off - worth waiting for. Hank
oleg C Posted November 13, 2009 Share #23 Posted November 13, 2009 Hi all, I'm just curious, did they ever produce this lens in a black paint version? (ie. not black chrome) Thanks..
adan Posted November 13, 2009 Share #24 Posted November 13, 2009 There are times when the pre-ASPH 35 f/1.4 drives me crazy at f/1.4 - and times when it is just plain lovely.
