tbarker13 Posted September 1, 2009 Share #1 Posted September 1, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Guess they are really serious about this. Just received an invitation in the mail today to a Leica Day event at a local camera store here in St. Louis, Mo. - not exactly a hotbed of rangefinder activity. I wonder how many cities they are including in this new product blitz.
Advertisement Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Hi tbarker13, Take a look here Leica day in St.Louis, 9/09. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
zeitz Posted September 1, 2009 Share #2 Posted September 1, 2009 I didn't know Schiller's was still a Leica dealer. They don't show up in Leica's Dealer Locator anymore.
harlock999 Posted September 1, 2009 Share #3 Posted September 1, 2009 This is a nice surprise. I guess I know where I'll be stopping by on the 9th. I am glad that St. Louis is not forgotten, but a little wary of dealing with Schiller's. I didn't know they were still an official Leica Dealer either, particularly with the trouble I had when I bought my M8 from them.
tbarker13 Posted September 1, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted September 1, 2009 Yeah, I was a little surprised. Whenever I go into that store, I see very little there of interest to a rangefinder fan.
adan Posted September 1, 2009 Share #5 Posted September 1, 2009 Geez, when I was a student at SIU/C, St. Louis had a nice selection of camera stores. Last time I went through there, Jefferson Camera was padlocked and Lindell Camera on Olive near St. Louis U. had been swallowed by the campus. Nothing but Creve Coeur shops, which have devolved to the level of Ritz stores for the most part.
