Mr Seamaster Posted August 27, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 27, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello, I've just joined and I am a complete newbie so please be patient with me. I have a C-Lux 1 which I had for a couple of years now and today it developed a problem which I hope is not major:( I was using the camera to review the pics I have taken today and I tried to zoom in and suddenly the camera "crashed". I turned it off and on again and the buttons wouldn't respond. I then tried to take a picture but the moment I turn the camera on, it automatically zoomed to the max and again the button won't response. I tried the scene setting and it just rifle through the menu continuously! Have I killed my camera? Is there a way to reset the camera, I have tried taking the battery out and put a fresh one in and also removed the memory card! Help, I am about to put the rest of my hair out. earleygallery Posted August 27, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 27, 2009 Hmmm sounds a little like the death of my one BUT try leaving the battery out of the camera for a week. This has sometimes worked with other digitals, resetting everything after draining the internal reserve battery - not sure if this applies to the C Lux but its worth a try.
