kivis Posted August 27, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 27, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) I was at a wedding with my M7 when all of a sudden I could barely push down the shutter button and when I did it just stuck there. At least I had a soft release attached so I could pull it back up. Then when I advanced the film, the lever seemed to be caught half way through. Later on that night I must have clicked the shutter (with no film) and advanced the lever about 50 times and now it seems fine. What happen?

msweeney Posted August 27, 2009 Share #3 Posted August 27, 2009 Sounds like a gearing problem? I had the same thing happen to me on an old Nikon once. Couldn't push the button down and it wouldn't advance. Once I took out the film I think the problem went away somehow. Maybe you could call DAG or Sherry and ask if they've heard of this problem. Isn't this your new a-la-carte M7 though? If so it should be under warranty. ~Mike
