Being able to read both fora'a I geuess the German leica owners are just not so wound up and excited as our international Leica friends.

It's part of the German tradition that all's well that goes well, and they firmly believe leica will solve the problem, so they move on to other photographic subjects, which I think is excellent.

The international forum is a bit "unsteady" to say the least, if you have read all M8 relted posts you will find that others jump from one conclusion to the other at the pace of a snap of the finger.

As a non-M8 owner at this point in time (I returned it this morning) I shall still frequent this site, but at a lower frequency, awaiting the final results of the improved M8.

This will be one of my last posts (not sadly said) but I hope most of you calm down a bit and just await what the big guy from Solms has in petto for you all, just go for the constructive critique, disregard the trolls and disregard the ever continuing of "looking who to blame for what" Go out and take pictures rather than hang around here all day, integrate magenta into your composition, shoot some great magenta shots with green blobs, now which digital camera owner can say that his image is based upon magenta streaks with integrated green blobs ..... be creative for the availability of the green blob and beautifull rendered magenta blacks will not last for ever you know, go out and make use of it, become a German for while, live this part of your life in total Magenta Zen, post nice posts be kind to each other, don't try to mingle with Leica's technical solution and all will be well. Just have some patience ....

and yes for those which might ask,

I had a couple of genuine Belgian beers this afternoon :-)

tarra all, enjoy your weekend, I hear the weather is going to be great everywhere !

:-)

I guess you weren't reading last week :) It was hell on wheels over there for a while, with everyone criticising everyone else's opinions over any detail at all. Now it is quiet, yes. I hope it will last. I hope the (relative) peace will last here too. Arguing about all this brings nothing.

We do have some the best sunrises and sunsets in the World , i do have to admit that and most folks just ignore it here. Shame

And now you're getting the Dodgers for spring training. I will be there with my M8, which I'm picking up tomorrow.
