stunsworth Posted August 14, 2009 Share #1 Posted August 14, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) If you're going to close a thread could you please post a final message saying why it's been closed. I've noticed two threads closed in the last 20 minutes or so, in one there was an explanation - cost of disk space - in the other there was none. I've also noticed at least one thread that appears to have totally disappeared from the forum over the last 24 hours, but since that was started by a new member asking for money I can at least understand why that was zapped. earleygallery Posted August 14, 2009 Share #2 Posted August 14, 2009 Cost of disk space?! :D:D
cocker Posted August 14, 2009 Share #3 Posted August 14, 2009 I second Steve's request. BTW Isn't the price of disc space a scandal these days. Almost as much as the price of fish.
stunsworth Posted August 14, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted August 14, 2009 Well to be honest I thought the 'cost of disk space' reason was a bit tongue in cheek, but then again that was also the case with the first post in the the thread, wasn't it James? earleygallery Posted August 14, 2009 Share #5 Posted August 14, 2009 Damn it Steve, how did you know that I wasn't thinking of buying an M9 ?
andybarton Posted August 14, 2009 Share #6 Posted August 14, 2009 Please provide a link to the second thread that was closed. If I close a thread, I try to place a final post in the thread explaining why. However, sometimes, threads need closing "in an hurry" (which I might do by iPhone for example) when it's not practical to comment.

azzo Posted August 15, 2009 Share #13 Posted August 15, 2009 " If you're going to close a thread could you please post a final message saying why it's been closed." Not only! Even when a post that had nothing wrong in it goes deleted. IMHO, one deserves that at least.
