I think that you may be barking up the wrong tree here. But after studying it, I believe that it may be the legendary EL-M. This is a very special model that has it's roots in the M8, but has a special sensor that gives very fine grain, and also a leaf shutter. :D

Yes, this must be a new branch of Leica M cameras and I'd like to ce-dar others in the range to see if it's very larch or not. I've become sycamore talk about the M9 so this is oak-a by me and it maple members who pine for 9/9 away from the M8 forum fir awhile although plane talking won't whittle down the number of those threads. Good fo-rest woodn't you think? :rolleyes:
