Guest user10847 Posted July 5, 2006 Share #6 Posted July 5, 2006 Our family & children's pics some day will be the most important photos we have ever made. Maybe this one will be shown around in 80 years by grandparents to their grandchildren?
icemendicant Posted July 5, 2006 Author Share #7 Posted July 5, 2006 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks Robert and Dirk... Dirk, I agree absolutely. I often wonder how different it will be for our children when they look back on family photographs, compared to how it was for us. I know I take pictures of my children almost every day (some good, some not so good) and I'm sure this applies to many photographers with children. Imagine what a legacy they will have when they are older, a very detailed record of their lives right from when they were born. It's quite different from the handful of snaps that I have of my own childhood. I wonder if that will make the new generation value the photographs more, or less? And I'm proud of that piece of history. I've got two cool daughters. They deserve for their grandchildren better stuff than that. (without f°°°in' *cheeese*-force 2. Questionable motive, maybe...
