Advertisement Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Hi leicanut2, Take a look here Is this a young Woodpecker?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!

michali Posted August 11, 2009 Share #3 Posted August 11, 2009 Jan- I'm quite sure it's Heron, not a Woodpecker. Where was this taken and I could possibly tell you which Heron it is. Regards
michali Posted August 11, 2009 Share #4 Posted August 11, 2009 Jan- My apologies, I meant Bittern, not Heron, I pressed submit reply before I could correct myself, my brain is not entirely here today.
leicanut2 Posted August 11, 2009 Author Share #5 Posted August 11, 2009 I never photo shop anything what you see is what I took. Mostly because I don't have much time and to be honest never tried to use any type of Photo shop. Again film old school.. Can't teach a old dog new tricks. The little bugger would not stand still and would not come out of the brush. I am going back to Sandy Ridge marsh maybe tommorow hope it is still around and try for a better picture.
