leicanut2 Posted August 4, 2009 Share #5 Posted August 4, 2009 Hi Doug, I used the 560mm and the 22228 with the Visoflex on my MP. I don't know if it works on short focal lenghts. I only had the 560 R mount at the time. The 22228 on the 560 was like adding the 14299 on the 280mm. For me the fire drill to use that big lens on a MP was a pain. I sold all the viso stuff and the lens and only have the 280 and a R8. Speaking of the R8 I took a few pictures of a bird at Sandy Ridge marsh here in Ohio with the R8 and 280 with a 2x I can't find the bird in any of my books may be a young bird who's color is not like the adult yet. I am going to drop a few rolls of film off this week hope to post a few pictures maybe you can help me identify it. Cheers Jan
rijve044 Posted August 5, 2009 Share #6 Posted August 5, 2009 Yes I have. I bought one from Novoflex - Home € 149,- (they make the best adapters) and use it with my M6 and M2 for my R 19 mm and R 24 lenses. Bought also the Leica Universal Weitwinkelsucher M originally designed for the Tri Elmar M 16/18/21 mm lens. I'm really happy with this combination. Focussing problems are not that big up to 35 mm lenses as you can estimate distance and stop down 2 or 3 stops. Only at close distances you can have a problem (under 1 mtr.) Dre. leicanut2 Posted August 5, 2009 Share #7 Posted August 5, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Try a Vosoflex 111, you can use longer lenses. It is fun if you are not in a hurry or taking bird pictures. Jan
