punctured bicycle Posted July 23, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 23, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Hello I have just noticed a fault with my M7 When I select 1/4 second, the viewfinder shows the required shutter speed as it would with Auto mode. I never noticed before as I can't hand hold a 1/4! Unfortunately the camera is out of 'passport' so I can't just send it back to Leica. Any thoughts? Advertisement Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Hi punctured bicycle, Take a look here M7 shutter dial fault. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
andybarton Posted July 23, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 23, 2009 If there's a fault, of course you can send it back to Leica. They might charge you to correct it, of course, but they will be able to fix it, if there's a problem.
budrichard Posted July 24, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 24, 2009 The 1/4 marking is not making contact and it appears that the camera reverts to AUTO. If it causes you no problem, then use it until it does cause a problem. -Dick
