Advertisement Posted July 23, 2009 Posted July 23, 2009 Hi carlantapp, Take a look here M8.2 and Nikon SB 600. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
jaapv Posted July 23, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 23, 2009 No-TTL only functions with dedicated Leica flashes. The flash will most probably function on A though.
Shootist Posted July 23, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 23, 2009 Not sure if the SB 600 has a A mode, I sold mine long ago. But the SB 800 does and I have been using that with the M8 with some great success, and then again some not so good success. Sold my SF 24D short time ago because the SB 800 works better, when it works.
Hartlén Posted July 23, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 23, 2009 Works in manual mode, but the problem I have is that the SB600 won't wake up when in sleep mode. I have to manually wake it up before pressing the release. (I have the M8 not the M8.2)
Photon42 Posted July 23, 2009 Share #5 Posted July 23, 2009 No-TTL only functions with dedicated Leica flashes. The flash will most probably function on A though. No A mode on the SB-600, as opposed to the SB-800. I'd use a different flash. SB-22 or SB-27 flashes are very cheap work well. The latter has a four or five automatic apertures to chose from, the SB-22 only two. Cheers Ivo
