Advertisement Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Hi prostak, Take a look here Lost Rubber Eyepiece for Digilux 3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
lemalk Posted July 20, 2009 Share #2 Â Posted July 20, 2009 I wish I had the serial #, and I know that Panasonic direct sells it for approx $30. Â I lost mine as well and ended up just getting the ME-1 magnifier from Olympus to help the viewfinder out especially when using legacy (manual) lenses. ASpes Posted July 21, 2009 Share #4  Posted July 21, 2009 Dear all, any ideas about replacing my slipped-away rubber-plastic eyepiece for Digilux 3 please? Serial number, perhaps?  With thanks,  illya  If you cannot find a direct replacement from Leica or from Panasonic, AFAIK you could possibly use the eyecup of the Olympus E-330, which is basically the "ancestor" of our D/3 and L1 bodies, as I remember some users reported the eyecup to be the same or anyway compatible.  If you search for "E-330 eyecup" on eBay you should find it as a third party spare, or if you're in Europe maybe contact the Luton Camera Repair Ltd. in UK, who carry genuine Oly spares and have currently on list that Oly eyecup (EP-5).  Btw, just noticed that on the Luton page they list the EP-5 for a few Oly cameras, among which the latest E-620, so, if that's not a typo, maybe you could go to a camera shop and test this first hand before committing.  Hope this helps. They are actually the same.
