Clook Posted July 19, 2009 Share #1 Posted July 19, 2009 Advertisement (gone after registration) Just a small niggle with C1. I've recently found that after 'processing' (converting to 72dpi jpeg from dng) with C1.4 and then uploading an image onto Flickr using the Flickr uploader, the copyright detail in the EXIF has changed from this, © M Scott 2009, to this qSBNIFNjb3R0IDIwMDk=. Is this a problem with Capture 1 of with the Flickr uploader? Or am I doing something daft or overlooking a simple point? Any answers appreciated. Advertisement Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Hi Clook, Take a look here Copyright details change after upload.. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Shootist Posted July 19, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 19, 2009 Could be the copywrite Character, ©, you are using is not recognized by the software at FlickR so it doesn't know what to do and assigns some generic charaters. Try removing that copywrite character and upload that image and see if the copywrite field stay correct.
jaapv Posted July 20, 2009 Share #3 Posted July 20, 2009 I don't think it is C1. The copyright info stays intact in my experience. it must be Flickr. iwouldn't know I don't use it.
Clook Posted July 23, 2009 Author Share #4 Posted July 23, 2009 You are correct Shootist. Tried an upload without the © and it worked fine. I suppose I'll have to type the complete word 'copyright' from now on.
