Advertisement Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 Hi Photongraph, Take a look here Which is better Leica Elmarit 2,8/150 P2 or (Super) Colorplan 2,5/90 P2?. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
fernando_b Posted July 20, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 20, 2009 I have the two Colorplans, usually I project my slides 30-40 times enlarged. It is difficult to see the difference among them. Even at these enlargements you see the difference only if you look from less than half a meter to very sharp transition from light to shades: the normal Colorplan has very thin colour fringes. I don't know the Elmarit, but for sure it requires about double distance to have same enlargements. Fernando.

With the 150 mm lens you need a different projection distance. For watching the whole image, you will probably not see any difference in the three lenses. If you want to walk closer for inspection of your slides, performance differences may become important.
