Advertisement Posted July 16, 2009 Posted July 16, 2009 Hi psamson, Take a look here Yellow Goose. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
Marquinius Posted July 16, 2009 Share #2 Posted July 16, 2009 Peter, You obviously have been having FUN! What a lovely series. I think airplanes are the most difficult thing to capture (perhaps next to nudes): everybody has done it and mostly it ends up being "just a naked aeroplane" (or "woman", at that ). Small thought: your fine photos would be enhanced enormously by some extra attention to post processing: tonality, contrast, sharpening. The colours for one, could be POPPING. I took the liberty of fiddling a bit with your photo.
psamson Posted July 16, 2009 Author Share #3 Posted July 16, 2009 Thx, I am still weak on color correction. I have the tools, but haven't explored them. And a correction on the posting. This aircraft is actually a Grumman Widgeon.
stuny Posted July 16, 2009 Share #4 Posted July 16, 2009 Peter - Delightful subject and framing. I was going to suggest the same adjustments as Marco performed.
