Leica and biased reviews

I have to get rid of this:

The M8 is still an adorable camera for me and I cant wait to gen one.

HOWEVER tha fact that Leica new the problems before the release and didnt tell is BAD imo.

And the fact that reviewers did know about the problems and didnt tell totally degrades the value of such reviews.

If the problem occured only in 1% of the images and the camera is still a great camera, good...... but why not tell it????

Why not leave the decission to the customers if they can live with that payoff?

And Leica asking reviewers not to tell .....mmmmhhhh, dont know if I like this idea.

Tom, any manufacturer is within its rights to ask reviewers not to judge image quality until the camera is final. The reviewers must then avoid to make any conclusions until the final camera is out. The manufacturer should fix any problems found during the reviews. This got all botched this time, but I don't think we need more threads saying so. There is plenty of discussion everywhere already.
