Not having shifted like AF mechanisms would. An AF system won't shift if you have it set up to only focus when you want it to - e.g. via the rear focus thumb actuated button. This is how most people I know use it. In actuality, it is almost exactly like focusing with a rangefinder focusing patch when used this way. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
