Well not really, but that frame suits the compomised film. Not sure I would want to see the expression on your face when you first saw the can and edge. Bad luck huh. What were you thinking about at the time?

zetb Posted December 3, 2006 Share #23 Posted December 3, 2006 this problem is usually from overagitation during development not a camera problem, right? QUOTE=frc]Close to a thousant rolls on the MP, sometimes 4, 5, 6 a day, only slightly distracted and this happens. Yes, stupid, I know.

hammam Posted December 8, 2006 Share #25 Posted December 8, 2006 I shot an entire roll of b&w in the studio, with an expensive model. It was the last series of the shoot. She went. I rewound. Nothing. The film hadn't caught on the take-up spool. The bottom of my M fell in the slush after a series in a covered market. I opened the back before rewinding. But, yes, very few fogged frames. My battery went dead in my Nikon F3. No spare. I moved too far away while shooting tethered with my D2X, and the laptop fell on the floor. $600 repair bill. I forgot to zip the changing bag closed when charging a film in the tank for developing. I dropped freshly rinsed negs on the floor, I've had the cover of the bulk loaded plastic film cassette drop on me while removing the cassette from the camera. And, of course, the classic: after all went well with the shooting, I put the fixer first in the tank, instead of the developer. So, cheers
Sandokan Posted December 9, 2006 Author Share #26 Posted December 9, 2006 Hi Rob - that graphic was my problem: I kept forcing the film like that without ever looking inside to see the sprockets! Now I know better... Until next time HI Olivier - I am sure to also repeat those when I start developing my own films, but dropping in the slush wouldnt be too bad in a fruit & veg market - a Meat of Fish market on the other hand...!
